This Privacy Policy explains how Mobivatar Interactive Technologies Private Limited (“Mobivatar”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you play Foodogeki (the “Game”) or visit foodogeki.com and its subdomains, including wiki.foodogeki.com (together, the “Services”).

We are the data fiduciary (and, where the GDPR applies, the data controller) responsible for your personal data. Our registered office is 116, Vyasar Street, Kamakshi Nagar, Valasaravakkam, Chennai – 600087, Tamil Nadu, India.

This policy is written to satisfy the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 in India, the UK and EU GDPR, and applicable United States privacy laws. Where local law gives you stronger rights than this policy describes, the local law prevails.

Foodogeki is free to play, supported by optional cosmetic in-app purchases and by advertising. Section 6 explains our advertising in full.

1. Summary of what we collect and why

This table is an itemised notice for the purposes of Rule 3 of the DPDP Rules, 2025. Each item is described in full in Section 2.

2. What we collect in detail

2.1 Data you give us

When you create an account you provide a display name and, if you choose social sign-in, an identifier from Apple, Google or another provider. You may give us your email address if you contact support or subscribe to updates. You provide chat messages when you communicate with other players.

2.2 Data generated by your use of the Game

Foodogeki is a real-time multiplayer game, so we necessarily record match outcomes, progression, card inventory, in-game currency balances and the technical telemetry needed to synchronise play between devices.

2.3 Data we receive from platforms

Apple and Google process all in-app purchases. We never receive or store your card number, bank details or full billing address. We receive a transaction identifier, the item purchased and enough information to deliver the item and honour refunds.

2.4 Data we do not collect

We do not collect biometric data, precise GPS geolocation, contacts, photos, health data or financial account data.

We do not sell personal data for money. Please note that serving personalised advertising involves disclosing certain data to advertising partners in a way that some United States privacy laws define as a “sale” or a “share”. Section 6.7 explains this and how to opt out.

In India, we process personal data on the basis of your consent, or for the legitimate uses permitted under Section 7 of the DPDP Act. Where the GDPR applies, our bases are: performance of our contract with you (operating the Game and your account); our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement, moderation); your consent (marketing emails, optional analytics, cookies, and all personalised advertising); and compliance with legal obligations.

You may withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Use the in-Game Privacy Settings screen, or write to privacy@foodogeki.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal. Some features cannot function without certain data — for example, multiplayer requires gameplay telemetry — and withdrawing consent for those may end your ability to use them.

Withdrawing consent to personalised advertising does not stop advertising appearing in the Game; it means the advertising you see will be non-personalised.

5. Children

Foodogeki is intended for a general audience. Our minimum age to hold an account is 18 years, or where local law sets a higher digital consent age.

In India, a “child” under the DPDP Act is any person under 18. Where we know or reasonably believe a player in India is under 18, we obtain verifiable parental or lawful guardian consent before processing their personal data, and we do not use their data for tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising.

In the United States, we comply with COPPA. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 without verifiable parental consent.

Parents and guardians may contact privacy@foodogeki.com to review, correct or delete their child’s data, or to withdraw consent.

6. Advertising

6.1 Who supplies the advertising

Advertising in Foodogeki is supplied by Google AdMob, a service operated by Google LLC and, for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, by Google Ireland Limited.

AdMob uses mediation and open bidding, which means an individual ad may be filled by a third-party advertising network or demand partner that Google makes available through the AdMob platform, rather than by Google itself. These partners are referred to in this policy as “mediation partners”. The mediation partners currently enabled for Foodogeki are listed at https://foodogeki.com/legal/ad-partners, and that list is kept current. Each mediation partner processes data under its own privacy policy, which is linked from that page.

6.2 What data is used to serve advertising

For advertising purposes, we and our advertising partners process:

  • Your device advertising identifier — the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS, or the Android Advertising ID
  • Your IP address, and the approximate location (typically country or region) that can be derived from it
  • Device and environment data — device model, operating system version, language, screen size, network type
  • Application data — the app identifier and version, and the ad placement being filled
  • Ad interaction data — which ads were shown, when, for how long, whether you clicked, and whether a click led to an install or other conversion
  • Selected in-Game events shared for measurement and campaign optimisation, being [list the in-Game events you share]

We do not share your display name, email address, chat content, support tickets or payment details with any advertising partner.

6.3 Google’s role and its own use of data

For some advertising purposes Google acts as our processor on our instructions, and for others — including improving its own advertising products and combating fraud — Google acts as an independent controller in its own right. This split is set out in Google’s Ads Data Processing Terms and its controller-to-controller terms, which apply to our use of AdMob.

Google’s own description of how it uses data in advertising is published at policies.google.com/technologies/ads and business.safety.google/privacy. We encourage you to read it, because data Google collects as a controller is governed by Google’s policies rather than this one.

6.4 Personalised and non-personalised advertising

Personalised advertising uses your advertising identifier and the interests inferred from it to select ads likely to be relevant to you. Non-personalised advertising is selected using only contextual and coarse signals such as the app you are using, your approximate location and your device type; a limited amount of data is still processed for frequency capping, fraud prevention, aggregated reporting and billing.

Where consent is required and you have not given it, we instruct Google to serve non-personalised advertising only.

6.5 Consent in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland

Google requires every AdMob publisher serving users in these regions to use a Consent Management Platform that Google has certified and that integrates with the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework before personalised ads may be served. We use [name of certified Consent Management Platform].

You will be asked for your choices the first time you open the Game, before any personalised advertising is served or any advertising identifier is read for that purpose. You can change your choices at any time from Settings → Privacy → Ad preferences inside the Game.

Where a mediation partner is not registered with the Transparency and Consent Framework, consent for that partner is collected through Google’s Additional Consent specification, which our Consent Management Platform supports.

6.6 Apple App Tracking Transparency

On iOS, we ask for your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before your IDFA is accessed for advertising. If you decline, or if you have disabled tracking across all apps in your iOS settings, you will still see advertising in Foodogeki but it will not be personalised. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking.

6.7 United States — sale and sharing

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, and comparable laws in other United States states, disclosing personal information to advertising partners for cross-context behavioural advertising is treated as a “sale” or a “share” even though no money is paid to us for the data. On that definition, Foodogeki sells or shares your advertising identifier, IP address and ad interaction data when personalised advertising is enabled.

You may opt out at https://foodogeki.com/legal/do-not-sell, or from Settings → Privacy → Ad preferences in the Game. We honour Global Privacy Control signals on our websites. Where you opt out, we enable Restricted Data Processing for Google’s advertising products, which limits Google to serving non-personalised advertising.

6.8 How to control advertising yourself

  • Reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings — iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads
  • Opt out of Google’s ad personalisation across its products at adssettings.google.com
  • European users: youronlinechoices.eu · United States users: aboutads.info/choices · Canadian users: youradchoices.ca/choices
  • Change your in-Game choices at any time from Settings → Privacy → Ad preferences

Opting out reduces the relevance of the advertising you see. It does not remove advertising from the Game, and it does not reduce the number of ads shown.

6.9 Advertising and younger players

We do not knowingly serve personalised advertising, or use advertising identifiers for tracking or behavioural monitoring, in relation to any player we know or reasonably believe to be a child under applicable law.

7. Sharing your data

We share personal data only with the following categories of recipients, and only as needed:

  • Advertising — Google AdMob (Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited) and the mediation partners listed at https://foodogeki.com/legal/ad-partners
  • Cloud hosting and backend providers — Google Cloud, [region]
  • Analytics and crash reporting — [name providers]
  • Customer support tooling — [name provider]
  • Payment platforms — Apple App Store and Google Play
  • Moderation services — [name provider, or state “handled in-house”]
  • Professional advisers, auditors and law enforcement, where legally required

Processors are bound by contract to process data only on our instructions and to apply appropriate security measures. Advertising partners acting as independent controllers are governed by their own published policies, which is why we name them and link to those policies.

8. International transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country, including in [list jurisdictions]. Advertising data processed by Google and its mediation partners may be transferred to the United States and other jurisdictions in which those companies operate. For transfers out of the EEA or UK we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses, including those incorporated into Google’s Ads Data Processing Terms. For transfers out of India we comply with any restrictions notified by the Central Government under the DPDP Act.

9. Retention

We keep account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. If your account is inactive for 24 consecutive months, we will notify you at least 48 hours before erasure and then delete or anonymise the data, unless we are required to retain it.

Purchase and tax records are retained for 8 years as required under Indian law. Moderation and safety records are retained for 12 months. Server and access logs are retained for 12 months.

Advertising data held by Google and by mediation partners is retained according to their own published retention schedules, which we do not control. Resetting your advertising identifier severs the link between your device and previously collected advertising data.

10. Your rights

Subject to your location, you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to processing, receive it in portable form, opt out of personalised advertising, and complain to a regulator.

You can delete your account and all associated data from the in-Game Settings screen, or by writing to privacy@foodogeki.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are in India and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may complain to your national supervisory authority or the Information Commissioner’s Office.

You may also nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity, as provided under Section 14 of the DPDP Act. Write to privacy@foodogeki.com to do so.

11. Security and breach notification

We apply encryption in transit, access controls, logging and regular review. No system is perfectly secure, but if a personal data breach occurs we will notify the Data Protection Board of India without delay and affected users within 72 hours, as required by the DPDP Rules, 2025, and we will meet any equivalent obligations under GDPR.

To report a security vulnerability, write to security@foodogeki.com.

12. Cookies and similar technologies

foodogeki.com and wiki.foodogeki.com use cookies and similar technologies. Our Cookie Policy at https://foodogeki.com/legal/cookies describes each cookie and its purpose, and visitors in the EEA and UK are asked for consent before any non-essential cookie is set.

The Game itself does not use browser cookies, but the AdMob SDK and its mediation partners use device identifiers and local storage for equivalent purposes. Those are governed by Section 6 and by the consent choices you make there.

13. Changes

We may update this policy. Where changes are material we will give notice in the Game or by email before they take effect. The English version controls.
